How many times have you arrived at your travel destination feeling a bit tight in the face or with a duller complexion than when you left? Our skin can become super dehydrated on a plane, especially those long haul flights! All that recycled dry air is havoc on our skin and the last thing we want to see is extra visible lines at the start of our holiday.

Tips for having healthy skin on flights

In the week or so before you leave make sure to up the ante on your skincare routine. Really layer on that moisturiser and make sure to take that cream down from the face and onto your neck too. Be sure to drink plenty of water too.

When it comes to flying, take your favourite moisturiser on board with you. This will be a skin saver on long flights and even airport transfers. If you can, try to splash your face with some water before applying your moisturiser (ask the flight attendant for a cup of water and use your finger tips to splash yourself). This will help make sure that moisture gets trapped into your skin.

*Don't just sprinkle yourself with water though and not add moisturiser on top, that can actually cause your skin to dry out more.

Carry on friendly skincare

Post flight skincare

After you arrive if you need to give your skin a bit of a refresh make sure you also packed one of our face exfoliants.
